Stairlift operations

Stair lifts operate using tracks that are laid against the side of the stairways. These tracks will determine the path that will be taken by the stairlifts as it moves along the stairways. The seats or platforms will be fitted into the tracks using bolts. Users need not worry as stairlifts can carry weights of up to 150kg. Besides the strong fitting, stairlifts are also supported by powerful batteries. These batteries are mostly rechargeable and have an effective lifespan of 5 years. Even when there is a building blackout, the batteries can still continue to operate the stairlift to move the wheelchair users out of the building.
Modern stairlifts are actually very smart systems. Stairlift parts are embedded with sensors to help users with detecting obstacles. For example, sensors are installed at the corners of the stair chair such that it is able to sound the alarm when there is an obstacle and halt the stairlift operation. There are also remote controlled stairlifts that which includes extra function for the users. The stairlift is a smart system that lets the user control everything from speed of movement to the tilt of the stairlift platform.
Users might feel uncomfortable when they use the stairlift the first time. This is due to instability experienced initially. Hence, users are advised to wear the seatbelt when they are operating the stairlift. It is better if you have a caregiver to overlook when using the stairlift in case the user falls off accidentally. Stairlifts have very good safety records and we haven't seen a case of users falling off the unit. This is unlikely to happen.
